Guac 4 ways

Guac can be used for many different recipes. It's great on tacos, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, latkes, vegan eggs, or just served with chips. Sometimes it's even good to just eat it with a spoon.


If you have some that need to be used, here are 4 different ways you can make guacamole.



Quick Guac

Don't have much time, feel lazy, or just want something low effort? This quick guac is for you!


Ingredients

1 ripe large avocado

Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Cut avocado in half and remove pit.

  2. Using a spoon, remove each half of avocado into a bowl.

  3. Add a generous pinch of salt and mash with a fork.

  4. Serve and enjoy!



Simple Guac

Want something a little more than the quick guac but don't want to put in much effort? This guac is for you.


Ingredients

1 ripe large avocado

1 tsp of garlic powder

1/2 tsp of onion powder

1-2 tbsp of fresh cilantro chopped or dried

Juice of 1 lime

Generous pinch of salt

Pinch of pepper


Instructions

  1. Cut avocado in half and remove pit.

  2. Using a spoon, remove each half of avocado into a bowl.

  3. Add the seasonings and lime juice, mash with a fork.

  4. Serve and enjoy!



Easy Guac

Looking for something delicious you can't stop eating or maybe want to impress your guests? This is the guac for you!


Ingredients

1 ripe large avocado

1 clove of minced garlic

1/4-1/3 of a large onion

1 jalapeno diced

2 tbsp of chopped fresh cilantro

Zest of 1/2 lime

Juice of 1 lime

Generous pinch of salt

Pinch of pepper


Instructions

  1. Cut avocado in half and remove pit.

  2. Using a spoon, remove each half of avocado into a bowl.

  3. Add the seasonings and mash with a fork.

  4. Add the lime zest, cilantro, and lime juice mixing well.

  5. Add the garlic, onion, and jalapeno mixing well.

  6. Serve and enjoy!



Avocado Crema

This avocado crema recipe is fantastic to use as a dip, a replacement for crema, or a replacement for sour cream on tacos, burritos, etc. It's smooth, easy, and comes together quickly with just a few ingredients.


Ingredients

1 ripe large avocado

1/2 tsp of garlic powder (optional)

1-2 tbsp of fresh cilantro

Juice of 1 lime

Zest of 1/4-1/2 lime (however much you want)

Generous pinch of salt

1/2-2/3 cup of water


Instructions

  1. Cut avocado in half and remove pit.

  2. Using a spoon, remove each half of avocado into a blender.

  3. Add the seasonings and fresh cilantro to the blender.

  4. Zest the lime into the blender.

  5. Cut the lime in half and add the juice to the blender.

  6. Start with 1/3 cup of water and add it to the blender.

  7. Blend the ingredients. Add water until it is the consistency you like for your recipe. If you need it more runny, add water until it is the consistency needed.

  8. Serve and enjoy!



Notes

All recipes will need to be consumed immediately and cannot be made ahead of time. If they are, there is a risk of oxidation that may cause it to no longer be good.


These recipes are great for avocado toast, good served on vegan eggs, on sandwiches, tacos, burritos, crunch wraps, quesadillas, served with chips, etc.
